Brand & Customer Service Coordinator

 Full-time

We’re seeking someone extremely detail oriented, organized, and hard-working, who is interested in having their hands in multiple facets of a business, and growing with the brand.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with administrative and operational tasks.
  • Responsible for the sample log, as well as all sample trafficking.
  • Manage all gifting requests. 
  • Pull necessary merchandise from the warehouse to accommodate photo shoots, press appointments, market appointments, VIP requests, etc. 
  • Schedule local messengers and coordinate UPS, FEDEX, DHL shipments. 
  • Maintain ATS inventory report and be proactive to reach out to accounts for reorders.  
  • Responsible for being on set and assisting all photoshoots. . 
  • Responsible for creating and updating line sheets (organizes samples, works with flats photographer, etc).

Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Oversee all customer communication via email, DM, etc. 
  • Answers customer service requests including site inquiries, sizing, discounts, and shipping. 
  • Process all returns and exchanges, and track customer feedback. 
  • Manage all pre-orders and VIP orders. Communicate with the clients to ensure the item is received on time. 
  • Works directly with the warehouse manager to address any stock or shipping issues, and to make sure orders are shipped out on time.


                    Skills

                    • Must be located in NYC. 
                    • 2 years minimum experience in related field.
                    • Completed Bachelor's degree.
                    • Excellent time management, project management, and interpersonal skills.
                    • Customer service oriented, not afraid to pick up the phone. 
                    • Proficient in Excel.
                    • Problem solver, can-do attitude.

                    Social Media/Content Creator

                     

                    Seeking a highly organized, creative, and self-directed Social Media Manager to manage and scale content strategy across our rapidly growing social media channels.

                    * All applicants must send examples of how they would plan out The Bar's IG. 

                    Primary Responsibilities

                    • Fully manages all social media accounts including Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc. 
                    • Schedules and posts on all social channels. 
                    • Develops the social media strategy across all channels and maintains the calendar of deliverables for each. 
                    • Creates original innovative photo and video content and ideas for social and website. 
                    • Organize all assets and selects for final approval from founders. Produce final design assets for social channels (including instagram posts, email campaigns, website update, online ads, etc). 
                    • Takes initiative when creating content while making sure all assets are prepared in advance for launches and back in stock products. 
                    • Develop copy for all social media posts, while continuing to evolve our brand voice and purpose. 
                    • Moodboards for shoots and campaigns.
                    • Linesheets/fit/sizing guide/gifting assets for social.

                     

                    Skills

                    • Must be located in NYC. 
                    • Completed Bachelor's Degree.
                    • 2 years minimum work experience in social media management. 
                    • Self motivated and organized. 
                    • Graphic design skills.
                    • Copy design skills. 
                    • Photo and video editing skills.

                    Design/Production Intern

                     

                    Primary Responsibilities

                    • Creation of stitch ideas, color CAD sets, technical sketches, and prototype layouts/paper patterns
                    • Creation of technical packages
                    • Responsible for fabric and trim selection.
                    • Manage the sourcing and organization of yarn records
                    • Maintaining color and trend books which are updated each season
                    • Managing all deadlines within Development/Production Calendar
                    • Partner with merchandising to assort line and develop product appropriate for business needs. 

                    Skills

                    • Must live in New York City
                    • 3+ years of knitwear design experience
                    • Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design
                    • Ability to prioritize workload based on delivery schedule
                    • Efficient in Adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and excel.

                    Freelance Knitwear/Technical Designer

                     

                    Primary Responsibilities

                    • Day to day errands and tasks, including midtown runs. 
                    • Organizes and keeps track of all fabric headers. 
                    • Assists in fabric appointments, follows up on header requests and follows up to make sure deadlines are met. 
                    • Assist with development, including research and sourcing. 
                    • Execute technical aspects of production including fitting, updating tech packs, sending fit comments, bulk approvals, etc.

                     

                    Skills

                    • Must live in New York City 
                    • Must be able to receive school credit
                    • Ideal availability 3-4 days a week
                    • Design experience preferred 
                    • Ability to sketch, adapt, and translate ideas. 
                    • Understanding of patterns, working knowledge of Adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign, and excel.
